Cataloguing and Collections Volunteer
Cataloguing is the process of recording information on all the David Livingstone Trust’s collections into a database to ensure we have a record of every object (item) we own.
Acquisition Committee Member
To make decisions on the acquisition of objects.
Community Ambassador
The David Livingstone Trust closed for redevelopment in 2015 it will reopen transformed next year. We are looking for volunteers who will go into the community to talk about the project to community groups.
Birthplace Project Learning Volunteer
Learning volunteers are a vital way to engage our audiences (includingschool children,their teachers, community members, families) with the David Livingstone story, their local history and to discuss current issues using learning resources including handling boxes, crafts and school learning activities.
Gardening Volunteers
The gardening volunteers are a small friendly team of volunteers who work all year round to maintain the extensive gardens around the David Livingstone Centre. They play an important role in making the grounds accessible, attractive and enjoyable for the wide range of people that visit the grounds.
